Is there a free app to quit nicotine pouches with no account?

By Jack Wallner · Last updated

Yes. Quit Zyn: Pouch & Snus Tracker is free on iPhone and opens straight to setup, with no sign-up, email or login. The day counter, daily check-in, calendar, garden, craving breathing mode, slip logging, widgets and Apple Watch app are all free. An optional upgrade called Bloom+ adds extras such as money saved and the full recovery timeline.

Bloom+ is a monthly or yearly subscription, with a free trial for eligible new subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices show in the app before you buy and vary by region.

Why is there no account?

Your quit date, check-ins, journal and cravings are stored on your iPhone and shared only with the app's own widgets and Watch app. None of it is uploaded, so there is nothing to sign in to. There are no ads and no cross-app tracking, and tracking works without an internet connection.

If you buy Bloom+, Apple takes the payment and RevenueCat checks the purchase using an anonymous ID. The app also attaches a few anonymous counts about the upgrade offer to that ID, such as how often it was shown. Neither ever receives your check-ins or journal. The privacy policy lists the details.

The trade-off of keeping everything on one phone: there is no sync between devices.

Does it work for snus and other pouches?

Yes. Quit Zyn counts nicotine-free days, so it works for Zyn, any other pouch brand, snus, dip, vaping or cigarettes.

What are the limits?

Quit Zyn is built for stopping completely. It has no per-pouch logging, no daily limit or taper plan and no nicotine strength tracking. If you want to cut down gradually first, the quit Zyn app comparison covers apps built for tapering. Quit Zyn has no App Store ratings yet.
