Is there an app that tracks money saved after quitting Zyn?
Yes. Quit Zyn: Pouch & Snus Tracker shows the money, pouches and nicotine you have avoided since your quit date, and that Saved view is part of Bloom+, the optional paid upgrade. The free app counts your nicotine-free days. Bloom+ turns your own can price and pouch count into totals, on iPhone and on Android.
Disclosure: Jack Wallner makes Quit Zyn, so this page describes his own app. Features and what is free were checked against the app as of October 2026.
How are the money numbers worked out?
At setup Quit Zyn asks how many pouches you used a day, what a can costs and how many pouches are in a can. From those three answers it works out a daily cost, then multiplies by your days. The Saved view shows three totals, each for your current run and across every nicotine-free day you have logged:
- Money: nicotine-free days times your daily cost.
- Pouches: nicotine-free days times your pouches a day.
- Nicotine: pouches avoided times about 6 mg per pouch, which is the figure the app uses.
What does the arithmetic look like?
These are made-up numbers to show the method. Your totals depend on what you used and what you paid, and the app does not predict any result.
- By the can: 2 cans a week at $6 a can is $12 a week, and 4 weeks is 2 x $6 x 4 = $48.
- As the app does it: 8 pouches a day at $6 for a 15-pouch can is 8 x $6 / 15 = $3.20 a day. Over 30 days that is 30 x $3.20 = $96.00, 240 pouches and 1,440 mg at 6 mg a pouch.
What is free and what needs Bloom+?
The day counter, calendar, check-in, craving mode and widgets are free. Money, pouches and nicotine avoided is a Bloom+ feature, along with your craving patterns, the full health milestone timeline, unlimited journal entries and more bonsai species. Bloom+ is a monthly or yearly subscription, each with a free trial for eligible new subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app.
What are the limits?
The totals come from the numbers you enter, so they are only as accurate as your can price and pouch count. The app reads no receipts or bank accounts and does not track what you actually spend. You can change the daily amounts later in Settings.
Free to download on iPhone and Android. No account needed.

Frequently asked questions
Is the money saved tracker in Quit Zyn free?
No. The Saved view with money, pouches and nicotine avoided is part of Bloom+, the optional paid upgrade. The day counter, calendar, check-in and craving mode are free.
How does Quit Zyn work out how much money I saved?
It multiplies your nicotine-free days by a daily cost it works out from your answers: pouches a day times the price of a can, divided by the pouches in a can.
Can I change my can price or pouch count later?
Yes. Both are in Settings, and the totals follow the new numbers.
Does it track my real spending?
No. It works from the amounts you enter and reads no receipts or bank accounts, so it is an estimate from your own numbers.
Does the money tracker work for snus and other pouches?
Yes. It uses pouches and cans, so it works for Zyn, other nicotine pouches and snus.
