Is there an app that times the wait after my daily GLP-1 pill?
Yes. Simple GLP: GLP-1 Dose Tracker starts a wait timer the moment you log your daily GLP-1 pill and sends a notification when the wait is over. You set the length to whatever your label or prescriber gives you. The in-app countdown, the notification, and the countdown on the Home Screen widget and Apple Watch are free, with no account.
How does the pill wait timer work?
- Choose your pill when you set up: the Wegovy pill, Rybelsus, Foundayo, or your own.
- Set Wait before food & drink to match your label or prescriber, from none up to 120 minutes in 5-minute steps. The field starts at 30 minutes for Rybelsus and the Wegovy pill and at none for Foundayo or a custom pill. Those are starting values only, so change it to match your instructions.
- Take your pill, then log it in one tap from the app, the Home Screen widget, Apple Watch, or Siri ("I took my pill in Simple GLP").
- The countdown runs from the time you logged. When it ends, a notification says your wait is over and shows when you took the pill.
- Logged it late? Log the pill at the time you actually took it and the countdown counts from then, or tells you the wait is already over.

What else does it do for a daily pill?
- A daily reminder at your pill time that is skipped on days you already logged. Tap Took it on the reminder to log the pill and start the timer.
- A streak and a month view of the days you logged.
- Pro adds a second reminder if the day slips by unlogged and a refill heads-up about a week before your pills run out.
Can I use the Clock app instead?
Yes. A Clock timer counts down just as well. Simple GLP starts the timer and the log with the same tap, so you also get a record of when you took each pill, and the daily reminder knows whether today's pill is done.

Follow the instructions that came with your pill and your prescriber. Simple GLP times the number you enter and does not decide it for you.
Does the timer work for Rybelsus, the Wegovy pill and Foundayo?
Yes. All three are in the medication picker, and you can add another pill by name. The wait length is yours to set for each.

What if I forget to log my pill right away?
Log it at the time you actually took it. The countdown counts from that time, and if the wait has already passed the app says so.
