Protein Tracker Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Protein Tracker has no account system and no developer-owned server. It stores targets, presets, source preferences, display settings, and a small daily-total cache locally in an App Group shared with the iPhone app, Watch app, and widgets.
Apple Health
With your permission, Protein Tracker reads dietary protein samples, including their source app, so it can show what counts toward your daily total. It can write dietary protein entries to Apple Health. If write access is denied, entries remain local until you allow the write later. It does not read body mass or other Health data. Health data is processed on-device and is never uploaded, shared, or used for advertising. Revoke access in the Health app.
Purchases
Protein+ purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat verifies entitlement status and may process an anonymous app user ID, purchase and entitlement information, limited technical app or device context, and paywall or purchase events for subscription functionality and analytics. It does not receive protein data, HealthKit data, your target, or information that identifies you. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
What we do not collect
No name, email address, account, advertising identifier, location, third-party tracker, crash-reporting SDK, or remote notification data. Evening reminders are scheduled locally.
Retention and deletion
Deleting the app removes its local data and cache. Protein samples written to Apple Health remain in Apple Health until you delete them there. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction records under their policies.
Children and changes
Protein Tracker is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy when the app or its services change.
