Protein Tracker

One number on your wrist: how many grams you have tracked today.

Just protein

No calorie counting. No AI photo guessing. No four-thousand-row food database to scroll before you can log a chicken breast. Set a daily gram target, watch your tracked grams climb toward it, and add what you eat in one tap.

It counts protein in Apple Health

Protein Tracker reads dietary protein already present in Apple Health. If another app writes protein there, it counts here automatically. The Sources screen names every app writing protein today, what each contributed, and how long ago, so you always know whether the number in front of you is current. If two apps are logging the same meals, turn one off.

Grams you add here are written back to Apple Health as real dietary protein, so everything else you use sees them too.

The watch is the point

Three buttons set to the amounts you eat over and over, plus a Digital Crown dial for everything else. Your usual shake takes about three seconds without touching your phone. Complications keep your running gram total on your watch face; widgets do the same on iPhone.

Who it is for

Lifters and strength trainees

Working to a gram target, and tired of opening a calorie diary to log a shake.

People on GLP-1 medication

Appetite is down, so protein has to be deliberate.

Post-bariatric patients

Following the target the clinic set, without a full food diary.

Private by default

No account with us, no sign-up, no ads, and no analytics. Your protein data lives in Apple Health and on your devices, and is never sent to the developer.

Protein+

Logging is free, on the phone and on the wrist, along with your target, today's total from Apple Health, the three quick-add buttons, source controls, the widget, the watch complication, and seven days of history. Protein+ adds everything behind the number: your whole history, streaks and month-on-month trends, quick-add buttons set to your own amounts, and an evening reminder with the grams you have tracked.

$5.99/month or $29.99/year, each with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, or $59.99 once for lifetime access. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.

Protein Tracker helps you follow a daily protein target that you or your clinician set. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for medical or dietary advice.
