IM Tri Tracker Privacy Policy

IM Tri Tracker has no account system or developer-owned database for race histories. It does not use an advertising or cross-app tracking SDK. Name searches and result identifiers are sent to the published results service so it can return the requested races. When a Race Book purchase screen is viewed, limited purchase-flow counts and dates are sent to RevenueCat with an anonymous app user ID, as described below.

On your device

• The athlete you claimed, and a cached copy of the published race results associated with that athlete.
• Your race notes, including conditions, nutrition, gear, and anything else you type. These are never uploaded by the app.
• Up to three recently explored public athlete profiles.
• Your unit preference and other settings.

Deleting the app deletes this local data. Remove my athlete in Settings clears the cached results immediately.

Requests to published results

When you search for your name or open a race, the app requests published results from the event timing service's results endpoint through its proxy. A name search sends the entered name and any optional city or state filter entered after a comma; refreshing a claimed athlete or opening field context sends the corresponding public contact or event identifier. These requests do not contain an account ID or an advertising identifier. We do not operate that results service or have access to its server logs, so its retention is governed by its own policies.

Configuration files

The app fetches small JSON files from this site, including the results-service configuration and the coaching content catalogs. These are ordinary web requests. The site is served by GitHub Pages, whose server logs we do not control or have access to.

Purchases

The app offers one purchase: a one-time lifetime Race Book unlock for comparisons and unlimited PDF or image exports. There is no subscription and no per-export charge. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device, and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user ID, transaction and entitlement information, and limited technical context to support purchases and restores. In the iOS version, the app also syncs counts of app opens and purchase-screen views by surface, first-view dates, and the offering involved in a completed purchase. These purchase-flow metrics are not currently sent by the Android version. RevenueCat associates purchase records with an anonymous app user ID; it does not receive your name, email address, race results, or race notes. This information is used for purchase processing, product support, and analytics about purchases and entitlements, not advertising or cross-app tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Sharing, retention, and deletion

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Local results, notes and recently explored profiles remain until you remove them or delete the app. Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, the results service, and GitHub Pages may retain technical or transaction records under their own policies.

To request deletion of an anonymous RevenueCat customer record, email the support address below. We can remove a matching record from RevenueCat; Apple or Google Play may retain transaction records under their own policies.

Children

IM Tri Tracker is for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The date above identifies the current version.
