IM Iron Splits Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

IM Iron Splits has no accounts and no analytics SDK. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to us, because there is no developer-owned server for your race history.

On your device

Deleting the app deletes this local data. Remove my athlete in Settings clears the cached results immediately.

Requests to published results

When you search for your name or open a race, the app requests published results from the event timing service's results endpoint. That request contains the search term or the identifier of the athlete or event being looked up. It does not contain a device identifier, advertising identifier, or account. A name is sent when the name is what you searched for.

Configuration files

The app fetches small JSON files from this site, including the results-service configuration and the coaching content catalogs. These are ordinary web requests. The site is served by GitHub Pages, whose server logs we do not control or have access to.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user ID, transaction and entitlement information, and limited technical context so a purchase can be unlocked and restored on another device. It does not receive your name, email address, race results, or race notes. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Sharing, retention, and deletion

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Local results and notes remain until you remove them or delete the app. Apple, RevenueCat, the results service, and GitHub Pages may retain technical or transaction records under their own policies.

Children

IM Iron Splits is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The date above identifies the current version.
