By downloading or using Elderhub (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Elderhub helps a family write down and share medications, doses, allergies, conditions, doctor visits and emergency contacts for the people they look after.
Elderhub is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and it does not give medical advice. Nothing in it replaces a licensed clinician.
Elderhub is not an emergency service. The daily check-in tells the caregivers in a family group that a button was not pressed. It cannot detect a fall, an illness or an emergency, it does not summon help, and it must not be relied on as a safety system. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Reminders and notifications depend on your device, your notification settings and your network. They can be late or fail to arrive. Do not use Elderhub as the only way anyone takes a medication.
Everything in the app was typed in by a person. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping it current. Elderhub does not verify drug names, dosages or interactions.
Elderhub uses Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account.
A family group is created by one person, who can invite others. Members with the organizer or caregiver role can see and edit the whole family record. A member in the “being supported” role sees only their own.
Only add another person's health information to a family group if they know you are keeping it, or if you are the person who makes their health decisions. Anyone in the “being supported” role may leave the group at any time, and the group is told when they do.
The core app is free for one person. An optional subscription unlocks additional people, visit history and export.
Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
One subscription covers the whole family group it is bought in. Everyone in that group gets the paid features while it is active.
Manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; Elderhub does not process payments and cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
You agree not to misuse Elderhub, harass anyone, attempt to reach accounts or records that are not yours, or use the app in violation of applicable law. Do not use Elderhub to keep track of someone against their wishes.
Elderhub is not currently offered in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
Elderhub is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. It is not a substitute for professional medical care.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jack Wallner shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Elderhub, including any missed reminder, missed notification, or reliance on information stored in the app.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
