On first launch, choose Start a care record for a parent or partner, I have an invitation for an email, link or code from family, or Keep track of myself for your own private record. The guided setup shows where medications, the emergency card, visits, readings, tasks and sharing live.
Open the Care tab and tap Add person. Mom, Dad, a partner, or anyone else you help belongs in the same care circle. Every helper you invite can see every person in that circle. Elderhub Plus is required when you add the second person, but invited helpers are always free.
Sharing tab → Invite someone. Enter their email address, choose whether they are a helper or the person whose record you already built, then create the invitation. Elderhub opens an addressed email with a tappable link and an eight-character fallback code. The code is good for 48 hours and has no 0, O, 1, I or L, so it can also be read over the phone. Pending invitations can be emailed again, shared another way, or revoked from Sharing.
Sharing uses Sign in with Apple. It is one Face ID prompt, and there is no password to remember. The care record itself needs no account at all.
Open a person → Add details for allergies, conditions, blood type and who to call, then View emergency card for the one-pager. The share button sends it as plain text, so it goes into a message, an email, or a printout. It opens with no signal.
Open a person → Check-in, turn it on, and agree a window with them. They see one large button. If it is not pressed by the end of the window, everyone looking after them is told that no check-in happened.
Elderhub cannot tell whether anyone is unwell and it does not call for help. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Elderhub, and make sure the person's check-in is switched on in the app. Notifications depend on your network, so they can be late.
Every feature is free for the first person. Elderhub Plus adds more people to the care circle. One person pays and every invited member is covered. Manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Bought it and it did not unlock? Settings → Restore purchases.
Sharing tab → leave the care circle. If you are being supported, your family is told when you leave. Settings → Delete my account removes your account; the family keeps the record they built together.
