Best triathlon results app for iPhone (October 2026)

By Jack Wallner. Updated October 12, 2026.

Triathlon results apps split into two jobs: following an athlete live on race day, and looking up finished results later. Best for looking up published full and half-distance results by name, with swim, T1, bike, T2 and run splits ranked against the field: IM Tri Tracker. Best for live race-day tracking at supported events: IRONMAN Tracker, RTRT.me or USA Triathlon Events Tracker, depending on who timed the race. Best for keeping your own manual log: My Results.

How we compared. I read each App Store listing and pulled its rating, update date and supported devices from Apple's public lookup on October 12, 2026 (US storefront), and took price models from the listings' in-app purchase sections. I did not install the competing apps, so every claim about them comes from their listings. Event coverage differs for every app, so check that your race is supported before you rely on one. Jack Wallner makes IM Tri Tracker, so read its entries with that in mind.

Ratings, update dates and device support come from Apple's App Store lookup on October 12, 2026. IM Tri Tracker is new and has only one rating, so its score says little yet. "Not stated" means the listing does not say.

IM Tri Tracker

IM Tri Tracker searches published full and half-distance triathlon results by the name you registered with. It shows swim, T1, bike, T2 and run splits, bib numbers, division places and overall ranks, ranks each split against the finishers of that event with field size and percentile, and keeps your history, personal bests and race notes in one place. Search, history and rankings are free with no account, and an optional one-time Race Book purchase adds race comparisons and PDF or image exports. The trade-offs: it covers supported published results only, not every race, it is not a live tracker, it has no Apple Watch app, and it is new with a single rating. It is independent and not affiliated with any race organizer or timing company.

IRONMAN Tracker

IRONMAN Tracker is the app for following athletes on race day. Its listing describes real-time times, paces, split estimates and division placement, live course maps, tracking several athletes at once and push notifications at select events. It has a large audience and a high rating. The listing does not describe searching your past results by name across races, and the latest update shown is March 2024. Choose it for spectating a supported race.

RTRT.me

RTRT.me is a real-time tracking app for events timed with its service. The listing describes live leaderboards, a course map, push notifications and tracking multiple participants, and notes that not every RTRT.me event is available in the app. It is for cheering on race day rather than reviewing a season afterward.

USA Triathlon Events Tracker

This app covers live tracking, course maps and event information for USA Triathlon events. Its listing is short, so read the event page for what your race offers. Choose it if you race a USA Triathlon sanctioned event that supports it.

My Results - Triathlon

My Results lets you enter your own results by hand, including transition times, for triathlon and other sports, and it works out total time from the segments you type in. Coaches can track their athletes' scores. It needs no looking up because you type everything yourself, and the latest update shown is October 2021. Choose it if your race is not in any results feed and you want a private log.

Websites worth knowing

Your race's official results page is always the source of record, and Athlinks is a website for searching results across many events. An app is mostly a faster, phone-sized way to read the same published results.
