Posture Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Posture processes posture and motion features on your devices. It does not require an account.

Motion, audio, and HealthKit

Compatible AirPods head-motion data is processed on-device to detect alignment relative to your calibration. Motion samples are not recorded for server use and are not transmitted. Posture does not use the camera and does not record or capture audio. Posture+ may play a silent tone so iOS continues delivering AirPods motion in the background.

The Apple Watch companion may save a short posture-monitoring workout to your Apple Health to keep background monitoring active. The app does not read HealthKit health data. The workout and wrist motion remain in your Apple Health and on your devices. You can revoke HealthKit access in iOS Settings.

Local storage

Posture stores posture samples, calibration data, streaks, goals, notification settings, and preferences locally using SwiftData, UserDefaults, and an App Group shared with the Watch and widgets. This data is not uploaded to our servers.

Purchases

Posture+ is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime unlock. Subscription plans may include a free trial for eligible accounts, as shown before purchase. Apple processes payment. RevenueCat verifies entitlement status and may process an anonymous app user ID, purchase and entitlement information, and limited technical context. It does not receive posture, motion, or HealthKit data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Retention, deletion, and children

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction records under their policies. Posture is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The date above identifies the current version.
