Best Baby Tracker App for iPhone
Best for sleep timing and parenting guidance: Huckleberry, though its SweetSpot nap predictions are in the paid tiers. Best for logging nearly everything, from pumping to vaccines, with core tracking free: Baby Tracker - Newborn Log. Best for twins and for tracking the parent too: Nara. Best for daycare or a nanny on any device, including a web browser: Baby Connect. Best for two iPhone parents who want four buttons and no account: Baby Tracker: Feeds & Diapers, the app I make.
How we compared (October 13, 2026): I read each app's US App Store listing and pulled its rating, rating count, supported devices, purchase types and last update from Apple's store data. I did not install or subscribe to the other apps, so what I say about them comes from their own listings. Baby Tracker: Feeds & Diapers' entry comes from its code and listing. Prices are left out on purpose, because they vary by region and change.
Disclosure: Jack Wallner makes Baby Tracker: Feeds & Diapers, one of the apps below, so read its entry with that in mind.

The apps, one by one
Huckleberry: Baby Tracker
The highest-rated app in this group. The free tier covers one-touch logging for sleep, diapers, feeds, pumping, growth, milestones and medicine, a breastfeeding timer for both sides, several children and sync between caregivers. Plus adds SweetSpot, which suggests nap and sleep times from 2 months, plus sleep schedules, reports and AI logging; Premium adds an AI chat called Berry and sleep plans. The trade-off: the feature it is best known for is paid, and much of the paid tier leans on AI guidance.
Baby Tracker - Newborn Log
The most-rated baby tracker on the US store. It logs feeds (including pumping and solids), sleep, wet, dirty and mixed diapers, growth against WHO standards, medicines, vaccinations, temperature and milestones with photos, and exports PDF reports. It has an Apple Watch app, widgets, Live Activities, Siri and sync between devices. The trade-off: the free version shows ads, and its What's Next timing cues need a Plus subscription after a short preview.
Nara Baby & Pregnancy Tracker
Nara has a calm design and was built by a mom to track her own newborn. It logs feeds, pumping, solids, diapers, sleep, growth and medical records, compares twins, and tracks the parent's pregnancy and postpartum health. Partners and caregivers join through a Nara account, and it works on Apple Watch. The trade-off: no iPad support is listed, and the listing does not say which features are paid.
Baby Connect: Newborn Tracker
Baby Connect runs on every platform, including web browsers, which makes it a fit for daycare, nannies and families with mixed phones. It logs feeds, nursing, naps, diapers, pumping, milestones and health data, with percentile comparisons and push updates. The trade-off: after the 7-day trial a subscription is required to keep saving entries, with read-only access otherwise.
Baby Tracker: Feeds & Diapers (my app)
Four buttons that never move: Feed (left, right or bottle), Pee, Poop and Sleep. One tap logs it, a long press sets the time, side, amount or stool colour. Widgets log with one tap, and there is an Apple Watch app with a time-since-last-feed complication, a Live Activity and Siri. Logging together works by scanning a code, with no account: records stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. A first-weeks diaper tally and more than one baby are free; Baby+ adds the pediatrician PDF, trends and CSV export. Its limits: every caregiver needs an iPhone (no Android or web), it does not log pumping, solids, medicine or milestones, it has no sleep predictions, and it has no ratings yet.
Which should you pick?
- You want help with naps and wake windows: Huckleberry.
- You want to log everything, from pumping to temperature, and do not mind ads: Baby Tracker - Newborn Log.

- Both parents have iPhones and you want the fewest taps at 3am, with no sign-up: Baby Tracker: Feeds & Diapers.
Four buttons, both parents
Baby Tracker: Feeds & Diapers logs a feed, a diaper or sleep in one tap and shares the log with your partner through iCloud. No account.
