Christmas Eve! What a time to be alive. It’s always fun to get in the holiday spirit and it’s even more fun to watch the people that forget that this happens every year.
I’ve been cruising through Nathan For You episodes and boy do they have some hilarious ideas. I think the first season is still the best season, probably because they had the cream of the crop to pick from business ideas. I imagine that in the later seasons the businesses are more aware of the fact that it’s a satirical TV show, which makes things more difficult. It’s awesome to see the lengths they will go with the Comedy Central TV money to turn these absurd ideas into a reality. Highly recommended.
I spent the morning watching NFL Redzone and rooting for the teams that have playoff implications that affect the Seahawks. At the end of the day the Seahawks need to win their last two games and then have Carolina win in Atlanta. Farely plausible, although it’s unfortunate that they don’t control their own destiny. And they could be knocked out of the playoffs completely with a loss against Dallas. It also turns this game into pretty much a early playoff game since it’s must win for both teams.
It’s interesting how divisions change over the years. It used to be the Rams with the Greatest Show on Turf, but they’ve disappeared until their resurgence this season. Then the Cardinals had their hey day with Kurt Warner. After that it was the battle between the 49ers and the Seahawks for NFC glory. Those are still some of my favorite games, when both the 49ers and Seahawks were in their prime, or headed toward their prime. Now the 49ers have an entire new regime and the Seahawks are past their prime.
I used to enjoy watching the 49ers before they became the Seahawks rivals and now that they’re not a threat anymore they’re a fun team to watch again. Especially to see Jimmy G get a real shot at quarterback.
Anyway, time for a hopefully good Seahawks game!
Good luck and God bless,
