Seahawks game today. Big matchup at home against the Los Angeles Rams. It’s still weird that there are two Los Angeles teams. I’m fine with the Rams being moved back to Los Angeles, but I wish the Chargers stayed in San Diego.
It looks like Bobby Wagner might play; whether he plays or not will have a drastic impact on the rest of the game. I’m also curious how the running game will perform. The forecast calls for a windy and rainy game, and boy do I love games where weather has an impact.
The snow game in Buffalo last week was one for the ages. It’s bizarre watching players try to play the game normally in such rough conditions. It doesn’t look like they’ll be as severe weather this week, unfortunately.
I might as well talk about cryptocurrency, since it’s always on my mind. If you’re reading this and wondering if you should invest, the answer is yes. Bitcoin’s ridiculous rise seems like it came out of nowhere; with the ridiculousness that’s happening with the US government I think putting money into something that has a huge algorithm and blockchain behind it is a good idea.
I’m glad I invested awhile ago and it’s fun to watch cryptocurrencies like REQ and LTC perform well. It seems scary to put money into something that look so volatile, but if you research the market for awhile it makes more sense.
I think people assume they already missed the boat on cryptocurrency, while experts say that Bitcoin could reach $100,000. The big thing is to assume that the money will stay in cryptocurrency and that they’ll be ways to spend the currencies in the future.
Keep in mind that I’m a 20 year old student that couldn’t really explain the nuances of Bitcoin if I wanted to, so don’t take my financial advice too seriously.
I’m still getting activity on geni.com, which I think is super cool. It’s interesting to trace my lineage back and see last names that I recognize from other places. It’s also quite crazy how if you trace back your ancestors even a few generations how many descendants come from a few people. Especially on the Mormon side of my family where they had a lot of kids.
I’m also still waiting for my results from 23andme.com, which is going to be fascinating to see. I’m not even sure what sort of stuff they’ll be able to tell me, but I can’t wait to see it and share it on the blog.
A Seahawks win will make tomorrow’s blog a lot more fun 😉
Good luck and God bless,
